Well, finally, I managed to get something done this week, not much, but something I have been needing to do for 15 days or so, at least, it has been that long since my last post. I had a few hours of decent enough weather yesterday, and no other interruptions, and was able to set the posts and put the floor joists in for the mini loft in the greenhouse room. You know, I have no idea why I call that room the greenhouse room, sun room would be a better name for, will try to start using that. Anyway, I put in the floor joists and laid the bags between them, and I don't think it is too big of a mess since I have never done this before, and I didn't have any help. I gain more and more knowledge about building this way all of the time. I cut three tall posts to use, and drilled holes in the middle of the bottom and set them onto re bar. I do not like using wood, I have never been able to build with wood very good. My rooms are never square, the cuts in the boards are never quite straight, and I can't drive a nail very well either. Okay, so the next step will be to go ahead and lay another row of bags, before I put in the support log across the dome, I have decided that it should be on the next row, which will mean another step. I actually found my very first 'blue print' and it shows to put it in at that point of the building process, so, maybe in another month, ??? I hope sooner, but I have a feeling I will be working at work a lot. It seems like there is some type of cycle going on here as far as my work on the dome goes, you know, like it has been 15 days since my last post, which means, it has been at least that long since I worked on the house. If I could remember stuff long enough, I would figure it out. OH well, guess it doesn't really matter. Until the next spurt of work, God bless!! ozarkmoma
