Dirt Day 3-16-2010

 Well, you know they say the Lord works in mysterious ways, and indeed he does! Today I went to a saw mill about 15 miles away, I had bought cedar sawdust from them before, but they had gone out of business, but the owner told me to go down the road another 5 miles or so and there was another saw mill there, they specialized in pine chips, but they sold to chicken houses and he didn't know if they would sell to me or if I would even be interested in what they had. So, I drove down there and found it very easily, and spoke to the owners wife, and she was very nice and helpful, and called her husband and he told her to send me up to where they were loading a truck, so I went up there and not only did I find good sawdust/ wood chips, but I also found a place to buy rice hulls! So, if you live in the Russellville, Arkansas area, you can buy rice hulls from them, either in large loads, and yes they deliver, or you can go there like I did and buy them in bags, and they even bag them up for you! And the owner may even be interested in buying my timber, I have been having a problem finding anyone interested since I only have a small amount. We shall see. After I left there I went and helped my youngest daughter for a while, then came home and unloaded the goods, and screened dirt, now if the Lord provides us with nice weather tomorrow I have everything I need to get started plastering again.
