OK, so, where in the world to begin? Let me start with, I just set this blog up and really have no idea what I am doing, so if anybody is out there and reading this, please bear with me??? I live in the foot hills of the Ozark Mountains, in Arkansas, and I have always dreamed of having a house built into the side of a hill, and so finally, after I put most of life's distractions behind me, I decided to start building one. But, wait! I am way too old to finance a million dollar house! So now what do I do?? Dang! Well, there has to be a way for me to build a house with a little bit of cash out of pocket, a little bit at a time!!! So, I started researching house building methods on the World Wide Web. I found a building method by a man by the name of Mike Ohler, and I don't know if I spelled that right, and I am not going to go find out either, sorry. Anyway, he had a really interesting method of building houses, and the cost was just what I needed, but I kept on looking, something just made me keep researching, but, to make a long story short, I saw lots of stuff, papercrete construction, padobe construction, adobe construction, cob houses, and soooooo much more, then I came across earth-bag construction. I really didn't think very much about it at first, but the more I researched it, the more interested I became. So, finally I decided on that type of construction. Why you might ask? Well, that is a long story too, and right now, I am really tired of story telling. So, I will continue this another time. Until then, may our Father in heaven bless and keep you. Sincerely yours, Ozarkmoma.
