Happy dirt day everyone. I managed to finally make myself go out Saturday night and work, but it was really late before I went out. Luckily I had some dirt already screened, I couldn't tell exactly how much, so I screened some more. After I mixed the plaster, I covered the back of the laundry room pod until I couldn't see anymore, so I waited on daylight to finish applying the plaster I had made.
After I uncovered the other side, this is what was there. What a mess. So, I started on the parts that were damaged. I used all of the plaster that was left on the damaged area.
This is what it looks like now. I also had to weed eat, and pick up over there after I plastered, my intentions were to go back out last night to work some more, however, I just kept procrastinating, just like I did Saturday night. By the way, I am pretty sure, since I am having such a hard time making myself go out there and work, that I do not like working in the dark. Even though I have the two lights, it isn't enough. Where I screen the dirt I really can't see very well at all, I can see fairly well in spots with the other light where I am plastering, as long as I stay close. And it isn't just that, but the heat. By now I think a good bit of the country is feeling this heat. When you step out after dark you kind of expect it to be cooler, but it is so hot now, that it isn't bearable outside until around 1 or 2 AM. And if that isn't enough, there are tons of bugs, the June bugs have made way for very large grasshoppers, and they dive bomb me constantly. I almost fell down the hill side over one of them dive bombing me! So, where was I before I went off on a tangent about weather, dark, and large grasshoppers? OH, I made myself go back out Sunday night, really late again, I screened dirt, and put paper and rice hulls on top, but, it was really time to come in and go to bed in order to get some rest before work tonight. You would think the heat wouldn't really bother me since it is at least 10 degrees hotter where I work than it is outside. Guess I am just getting old. OH well, the house will get built someday! After all, I have only been working on it for three years, and all things considered, no more time than I have that isn't bad. Until next time, I hope you all will have a wonderful week. Ozarkmoma
