Dirt Day 04/07/2010

Hello, and just dip me in dirt! I hope anyone that is reading this is doing well. I am late writing this blog, I should have written it last night but I was really tired, I spent almost a whole day plastering, and of course all of the fun stuff that goes with it , like screening dirt, and making paper mush, etc., etc., and so on. I have decided that since the bags are falling apart when I touch them that I will buy a butane torch and see if melting them off before I plaster will help, they simply make it really hard to plaster, and another thing that is very hard to deal with is the chicken wire, where I put it on the bags in the doorways, on the sides where it hangs out, it is totally in the way and hard to plaster around, and of course I can't find my wire cutters so that I can cut it off, they are in that safe place where everything else is that I need. It is so infuriating sometimes, not knowing where that place is, I waste so much time, but I will remember, or stumble across it someday, until then I will just have to do the best I can. Also, the belt came off of the mixer and I put it back on, but it was so loose it came off again, so I had to find some tools, which, fortunately I knew where the sockets and the ratchet wrench were, so I was able to tighten the pulley up and that made the belt stay on better, in fact when I finished I was going to take the belt off so I could take it to town and buy a new one, but couldn't get it off, so I am not going to worry about it this week. So, today I may be going to help a friend and her father with a porch, well, I thought I was, but haven't heard from her as to what time I am supposed to come so don't know if that is going to happen or not. If I don't go, then I will be back down there plastering, because I need to get it done so that I can feel like it will be ok and not fall apart. So, I hope everyone has a most wonderful day today, and may God bless you all. Ozarkmoma
