OK, I am trying something different, looking for ways to go faster, and cut back on the weight because the dirt is heavy, and I am not getting any younger. I don't know if the re bar and wire is needed with this, but, just to be safe! I am mixing up some papercrete and hopefully it will be stiff enough to stay in place.
So, this is what it looks like wet. So far I do not think I will need to put another board on this side to keep it in place until it gets dry. This is a wall on the sun-room, it is non supporting, so it should be OK for the first batch of papercrete.
So, a while later, I came back to check on it. It is drying and keeping it's shape, I put rice hulls in it, but I really don't think they were anything I care to continue to add. My clay dirt has a lot of sand in it, so I didn't add sand. Next time I am going to put more Portland cement in it, not a lot, but a little more. Lou and I were successful at getting the bamboo yesterday, and she, Bill, and his girlfriend are going to help me with it Sunday, so check back next week to see what we did with that, and if it worked out. God bless, Ozarkmoma
