Good day to you all!! I still haven't worked on the house, but, I did manage to go out yesterday and start on a temporary mini greenhouse. My house plants are too big for my Mobile Mansion, so I am desperate to have a place for them for the winter since the dirt mansion still isn't done. I had to dig the dirt out of the side of the little hill, this is where I started.
This is where I had finished digging, I wanted it bigger, but I just couldn't dig anymore, so I started the bamboo frame, this is as far as I got, I had to finish for the day and go move firewood and other chores. I am also planning on trying to grow some fresh collards and other greens, I had a really good crop in my garden by the Mobile Mansion, but one of my neighbors cows (two big pregnant ones) decided they needed the food more than me and ate everything they could, including the leaves off of the okra, and one of the hot jalapeno pepper plants, hope they got diarrhea over that. I called the police and reported it, but mostly I was so up set I wanted to kill them and eat them! I wouldn't have done it, they were pregnant, but I sure wanted to. But you can see what is left of my tomato plants, I am hoping to keep them growing as long as possible, this is all down by the dome. Tomorrow I will have to get out there and cover everything with plastic as best as I can, I am not finished with the frame yet, and I broke a piece of bamboo too, but it is supposed to be freezing again for a few nights and I have to cover and keep them all warm. My house plants took up most of the dug out,so will have to expand for the veggies.
You might ask what these pictures of my phycotic short legged freak of nature have to do with anything I am building, the answer is absolutely nothing. just wanted to show off my baby sitting in my (her) chair. Until next time, I hope you have a blessed week. Ozarkmoma.
