Happy Thanksgiving!

Good day to you all! Well, we had a flood here Monday night! The weather man says the radar reports 5 inches of rain in our area, but people were calling in with reports of twice that much, and speaking from past experience, I strongly agree with the people that called in. There was too much damage for 5 inches of rain. But only God really knows. I want to share some photos, just from my place, there were stores in town that had a foot of water running through them and it took the owners all day to clean it up. Cars also got stranded in running water and hwys got closed.

 This is where the water came over the new pond, and made a creek that drained into the real creek.

 You can see in this picture where the water went over the levy road, and it made big cracks in the back of the levy.

 The old pond that was really low, filled up and came out of it's banks, made as creek, as you can see, that dumped into the new pond.

This is a picture of the water coming over the levy, but because of the colors of the season, it is hard to really see anything. Anyway, the water by this time was coming over slowly.
