Well, this is the last place that I can think of that needs to be plastered, then I should be caught up with making sure everything is covered and protected, in hopes that it will not be damaged before I can get it in the dry. I have only been trying to build this dirt mansion for three or so years, but, if the Almighty is willing, I will get this in the dry by winter, of course, that is a very large, and probably unrealistic goal. But, at least it is a goal. I would love to be living in it before it gets cold again. Sorry I didn't get any posting done last week, it was a very hectic week, I did work on the house, and the inside is covered with protective plaster, now I need this last wall covered, then I can start trying to 'get 'r' done' !! Check back Friday to see if I managed to get this plastered. God bless.

What are the two small PVC pipes and the one large pipe on top for? Vents? Shooting holes? Both? I saw an adobe home in Arizona some years ago, and the owners had built it with glass bottles embedded in the walls to let in some light and color. I don't remember what they did with the openings.
The large one at the top will be a circular window, should be one on each side of the door when I am finished. The smaller ones are my answer to spending a lot of money on recessed lighting. Lets say they could be called 'hillbilly' lights, they are wired and will have small lights in them to light the stairs, plus plexi-glass to close them in the winter, with screen on the outside so I can open them in the warm weather and let air draw through them, and of course during the day time light will come through them. Never thought about shooting through them, good idea!
