I want to start by telling my new aquintance in Japan thank you for asking me what the tubes were for. If you had not done that, then I would not have the left window tube in the wall. I had to cut the bag out and put it in, I have such a bad memory. Still, better than it not being there. Plus, I thought everything had been plastered inside the dome, but I was not completely finished. So, before I started the outside all of that had to be done.
So, at the end of Tuesday, this is where I had gotten with the plastering. I was really worried that I would not be able to get this wall covered before today, but, it is a miracle. I did it. I really don't know how, but....
I am standing on top of the hill looking down, in these two pictures. It looks quite different now. I will need to add another row of tires, and I also need to cut the black plastic that is on the pantry pod away, and plaster that as well, and once the roof is over this area, I will plaster the tire wall too, but it will not happen this week. I will wait until I have laid another row of bags all the way around, then I will stop and plaster everything again. That is when I will plaster the outside of the pantry pod. In this way I am praying that it will not suffer anymore damage from rain or sun. It is so intensely hot here, the bags disintegrate in just a few months. In fact, according to the weather man, we are in a minor drought already, I would not call it a minor drought. I would call it a major drought. If the plants and trees are visibly wilting and suffering, the grass is brown and crisp, then I am thinking it is going beyond minor. The temperatures for May have been unusually hot, this is one reason why I was not sure I would be able to get the plaster done, there is no shade out there. Tuesday was really hard, but yesterday I seemed to be slightly acclimated to it. If I do anything out there today, it will be clean up and organizing. Until next time. God bless. Ozarkmoma
