I do not know what in the world I would do without a chain saw. 

Well, this hasn't been a very productive week as far as working on the dome. I learned something though, and it should come in handy in the near future. You can paint the bags, yes, paint the bags, and that will protect them from the sun. I do not recall reading that in the books, but, I do that a lot. I only worked on the house today, Thursday, for a little bit, I moved some stuff around inside the dome, and then I cut the boards to use for lintels. Then I drilled the holes in the ends so I can drive re-bar through them to keep them in place. I didn't get the lintels put in place though, because yesterday I cut some cedar posts to go work on someone else's fence, while doing that I got a stick in the sidewall of one of my barely used tires. So, now I am getting ready to head to town to buy another tire,  this will be my third trip this week to go to town, Monday I went to my Mother's house, that is a whole day, and any time I go to town it is a 35-45 min drive one way. So, you can see, not only is it expensive to drive to town, but very time consuming. Busy week!! Maybe next week will be better. God bless you all. Ozarkmoma
