Happy dirt day Y'ALL!! Just a quick update today. This is where I
quit last week. So, after sleeping 40 hrs Friday and Saturday, I managed to wake up Sunday and do some laundry, then I went outside to get ready to work on the house.
It was my plan to finish the wall I started, then cover the buttresses.
Which, as you can see I finished the wall, and put a real thick coating on this side of the buttress.
But, when I loaded the last of my plaster, I changed my mind and decided to skip the next buttress and go to the other side where there was a whole row of bags that were disintegrated. This is right at the end of covering the left buttress.
As you can see, I finished that buttress, I must of put a couple of inches thick, that is why I didn't have enough to go finish the other buttress.
So, I figured I had enough to repair the exposed dirt that you see here, this is one of the walls that already suffered damage when I had 20 inches of rain in one week, had I plastered the walls, they would have been OK, and when I realized it was in such bad shape yesterday I went ahead and covered it instead of the other buttress. Just the one exposed row.
Hopefully you can see that it at least looks 100% better now, and I am sure if it rains and I can't keep it covered, at least it won't wash away very easily. Until next week, may God bless you. Ozarkmoma
