Happy Dirt Day!!

The top two pictures were just for fun, I eased across the big log and Lou took my picture.It doesn't look that high, but I really wouldn't want to fall from that height.


Anyway, here is Lou sitting on the logs after we put some bracing logs under them for support so we could go
up to the loft and put the floor joists in. We did not get that far because we only had one day together, but it was a very beautiful day and as far as we are concerned, a very productive day. I had already put the first log up, and we used two more I already had cut, but for the last two logs we had to take to the woods and find just the right logs to use, The picture of course doesn't really show what we are planning on doing here, but once the house is finished, you will see then.
