Happy dirt day y'all! I would like to start by mentioning that a good friend of mine has a coupon web site, the link  to it is on the right side of this page. She worked really hard to help build a site for someone else, and when it was big enough, she started her own, I hope you will check it out.
It is the weirdest thing, I did not work today because of the 4th of July, so I had more time to work on the house. Last week I had put the big awesome boards up that my sister gave me, but Monday I took them down. Why??? Because they had, 'crown' ? At least that is what the man at the lumber store called it. Anyway they will be perfect for a different area, but I decided I better use something a little different for the loft floor. So, I took them down on Monday and I have been putting boards in all week. It has been a very slow process, plus I had to go to town and buy more, and I was supposed to buy more nails and screws, but, DUH, I forgot. But, in spite of my total ignorance and the record heat wave, I managed to get most of the boards up there, I ran out of nails and screws, and did not finish. But, most of it got done. And NO, it is not level, what is that anyway??? DUH again, I am not finished, but it will take a miracle for it to be perfectly level.I will just put the head of the bed uphill.....problem solved.

And, this afternoon before I finished for the day outside I laid a couple of bags in the sun room. I did it so that when I get back to that particular job, I will have a clue laying there to remind me of what I was doing. I know, make a list, well, I would probably forget where I put it. On a different subject. Today, the saddest thing. I looked up and a hummingbird was trying to get nectar out of the red flag I had stapled to one of the boards in the back of my truck. When that didn't work out for her, she checked on the brake light lenses, but she didn't waste much time there. Which reminds me I need to go fill their feeders again. Until next week. God bless.
